NOTICE OF DESIGN REVIEW FROM KINGSTON PLANNING BOARD REGARDING A PROPOSED 64-UNIT AGE-RESTRICTED DEVELOPMENT AT THE FORMER KINGSTON FAIRWAYS GOLF COURSE

The East Kingston Planning Board announces it has received notification of a 64-unit age-restricted condominium development proposal for 57 Depot Road (formerly Kingston Fairways Golf Course).  See attached conceptual plan. This is in addition to the 255-bedroom proposal at 50 Depot Road, Kingston.

The notification (attached) is for a design review application, meaning the applicant will present conceptual plans drawn up by an engineer and conduct nonbinding discussion with the Kingston Planning Board to ascertain feedback about the application process as well as concerns or challenges the applicant might have.  Do note that all of the dwelling units would be located in Kingston; however, a clubhouse, pool, pickleball courts and horseshoe pits would be located in East Kingston.

The discussion for this proposal will be held on Tuesday, March 19th at the Kingston Town Hall at 6:45pm.

The East Kingston Planning Board meets next on March 21st at which point they will review the plans and consider providing a response should the proposal reach the official public hearing phase.
