Powwow Bank Restoration

The East Kingston Conservation Commission has received approvals and necessary permits to restore and improve the bank at the Railroad parcel residents-only town beach. See the Plan for Bank Restoration.

The project will require donations from citizens like you to see it to fruition. Everyone can play a part in this, and every donation makes a difference. Purchase a brick with your name, company, organization or in memory of a person, pet or special event at https://4everbricks.com/donors/ekcc/. Your donated brick will be part of a permanent installation on the town beach patio (following project completion in 2024).

Brick for East Kingston Conservation Commission fundraiser

The Powwow Project will address the erosion that has occurred and prevent future erosion with retaining structures:

  • The eroded beach will be built up
  • Old dying trees will be removed
  • A stairway with a railing down to the water will be installed
  • Native plants will be planted, and
  • A brick patio will be laid.

Bidders can get a Project Overview (Complete contract documents are available at Town Select Board's office)
