Permits from the Fire Department are required for the all of the following:

Open Burning:

• Brush Piles
• Camp/Cook Fires

The following required permits are under Building Inspector section of website.

Oil Burners:

• Tank Installation
• Furnaces or Boilers

Propane/Natural Gas:

• Tank Installation
• Furnaces or Boilers
• Water Heaters
• Clothes Dryer
• Kitchen Cooking Equipment

Solid-Fuel:

• Fireplaces
• Woodstoves
• Pellet Stoves
• Coal Stoves
• Furnaces or Boilers

Chimneys:

• Masonry Chimneys
• other Flue Vents
